Background and Objective: The content taught in universities plays an important role in developing employment and entrepreneurship among graduates. This study was conducted to explain the educational content of health sciences majors in order to train entrepreneurial students.
Methods: The present study was conducted with a qualitative approach of content analysis. The participants included 15 faculty members and entrepreneurs in the health field who were selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out in the form of semi-structured interviews with open-ended questions and continued until information saturation was reached. The data were analyzed using Sterberg content analysis. Data management was performed with 10 MAXQDA software.
Findings: The total number of free codes extracted from the interview content was 225, which were extracted after merging 65 subcategories and 11 categories, and finally 4 themes (entrepreneurship knowledge, entrepreneurial skills, business design, and entrepreneurial orientation).
Conclusions: Considering the research findings, it can be said that adding educational content based on entrepreneurship to the syllabus of health sciences can have an effective role in the employment of graduates.
