Internal Evaluation of Social Medicine Department of Zabol University of Medical Sciences

Background and Objective: Internal group evaluation is a prelude to quality improvement. The training group took the first steps by planning to implement it. The aim of this study was to conduct a social medicine training group and determine the degree of desirability of the group in order to identify weaknesses and weaknesses and provide the necessary solutions to improve and improve them.
Methods: This study was conducted in 1399 at the level of social medicine educational department, including the group director, faculty members and students, through the distribution of a national questionnaire for internal evaluation of educational groups. The questions related to the questionnaires included 7 factors, 25 criteria and 125 indicators and each of the indicators was graded in three grades: favorable, relatively favorable and unfavorable. Finally, the data were entered and evaluated. SPSS V22.
Findings: The results showed that approximately the scores obtained from the factors of mission and organizational status, training courses, science, students, teaching-learning strategies, educational facilities and equipment and dissertations and study opportunities and seminars were 1.62, 1.9, respectively Were 1.52,1.31,1.50,1.59 and 1.2.
Conclusion: Considering the results, the situation of the group in most parts was favorable and relatively good, but in some parts there was no good quality that the social group should try to eliminate weaknesses and strengthen strengths.
