Background and Objective: The increase in the elderly population in Iran has caused the need to increase the knowledge and awareness of students and health care service providers to be felt more than ever. Therefore, the purpose of the present study was to design and implement the curriculum of the general knowledge course on geriatric health among students of Semnan University of Medical Sciences Methods: This study was conducted in the academic year of 1401-1400. A convenience sample of 49 students from Semnan University of Medical Sciences has been selected and entered the study. During a pre-designed process, with the opinion of experts and faculty members of the university, the curriculum of general knowledge of aging health and content outlines along with related resources were written for 17 educational sessions. In two stages, pre-test and post-test, the level of skill and knowledge of the students was evaluated using a coordinated standard written exam. In addition, the level of satisfaction of the students according to the curriculum and the implementation of the course was also evaluated using a researcher's made questionnaire. Findings: In this study, the average score of the test designed to measure the knowledge of the course learners in the field of general knowledge of geriatric health, before participating in the geriatric knowledge course, was 8.36 with a standard deviation of 1.70. The average score of the final exam of the general knowledge of aging for the students was 15.59 with a standard deviation of 2.06. An average score of 66% of the students participated in this study, agreed with the necessity of the general knowledge of aging course. In addition, 46 percent of the students considered the necessity of the course, its content, and the way it is presented to be medium to high, and 40 percent of the students also evaluated the existence and necessity of the seniority course and its content and way of presentation as very high. Conclusion: The results of this study indicated an increase in the knowledge and general knowledge of the students participating in this study in the field of general knowledge of old age, so that the average score of the final test compared to the test before the general knowledge of old age health course has improved with an average difference of 7 points.
