Methods: The present study is a quasi-experimental study that was made available in 1400 on nursing students of Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences in Yazd. The study population includes students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th semesters who are undergoing internships in nursing courses for the elderly 1-2-3. This research was conducted in four steps. Step1: design a logbook. Step 2: Educational and briefing sessions for students and educators. Step 3: Complete the logbook. Step 4: Satisfaction. Findings: In this study, 70 nursing students, 35 males (50%) and 35 females (50%) participated. 54 (77.7%) of the student participants were single and 16 (22.3%) were married. Based on students' views on the use of logbooks, the majority of items such as familiarity with the tasks and objectives of the internship, clarification of expectations, focus on teaching and learning, and motivating educational needs were moderately satisfied. Conclusion: Based on the findings, students and educators were satisfied with the use of logbooks in adult-elderly nursing courses. But it seems that the logbook was not efficient enough to record some goals in clinical education.
