Aim & Scops
Medical Education Journal (MEJ) is an open-access peer-reviewed scholarly journal publishing original research articles about the training of healthcare professionals, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education. MEJ has a special focus on curriculum development, evaluations of performance, assessment of training needs, and evidence-based medicine.
MEJ assists medical educators in the evaluation of curriculum development, methods of instruction, individualized learning practices, and the assessment of students and faculty. The aim of publishing the MEJ is to promote the quality of medical education by publishing the conducted studies on all topics related to medical education. The topics include but not limited to the following:
- modern teaching-learning methods in medical education include CBL, EBM, PBL, SBL, e-learning, PAL, observational learning, flipped classroom model, and team-based learning
- medical curriculum analysis;
- designing educational courses;
- educational assessment of medical courses;
- evaluating the success rate of medical courses; and
- planning in medical sciences education based on the national and international needs.
