BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: One of the important challenges in education in recent years will be the adoption of mobile devices in the learning sphere. This study aimed to psychometric of the attitudes towards mobile learning scale.
METHODS: This study was psychometric of 120 subjects was recruited from the medical schools in Iran university of medical sciences. Initial instrument was adopted from previous studies compromised 21 –items, likert type. Instrument validation procedures included impact item score, content validity index (CVI) and content validity ratio (CVR) was done with the judgment of 10 experts and 20 items was remained in instrument in this phase. For the construct validity exploratory factor analysis was used. Internal reliability of the scale was determined by alpha cronbach coefficient and with the test-retest method the external consistency of a test was assessed.
FINDINGS: Of the original 21 items, all of them about the impact item index over 1.5, CVR over 0.62, and CVI over 0.7 were considered as valid; based on exploratory factors analysis, 21 items remained in scale. Considering a minimum eigenvalue of 1 for each factor, the four factors were labeled as: mobile learning usage, mobile learning restriction; Freedom in the use of mobile phones in learning and capability of mobile learning. This instrument capable of predicting 68.516% of the properties as an attitude toward learning with mobile learning variance.
CONCLUSION: The results of this study indicated the strength of the factor structure and reliability of an instrument for measuring student attitudes toward learning with mobile learning. The results of study can assess student attitude towards mobile learning in universities and other educational institutes.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Continuous labor support for pregnant mothers is effective in reducing pain and anxiety. Factors that may increase the cesarean sections and decline the fertility. This study aimed to evaluate the clinical education of continuous labor support to midwifery students in the importance and use of supportive behaviors by students.
METHODS: In this quasi-experimental study, 34 midwifery students were selected through census sampling. Students in groups of 7-5 members, practically trained the continuous labor support techniques by midwifery clinical teachers in the clinical setting. To determine the impact of the intervention, the Labor Support Questionnaire (LSQ) was used before and after the intervention. Data analysis was performed using SPSS software v.23 and descriptive statistics, t-test and linear regression. A worth of significantly less than 0.05 was considered significant.
FINDINGS: According to the study findings, continuous labor support education to the midwifery students at the clinical setting, has been led to a significant increase in the rate of importance and application of supportive labor practices in four areas of physical, emotional, advocacy and information. In linear regression analysis, none of the variables studied had significant relationship with the importance and the use of supportive behaviors.
CONCLUSION: With regard to the impact of clinical education to the importance and application of labor support methods on midwifery students, it is necessary to the students become familiar with the supporting models and attempt to do it until after graduating, they can use these methods as a staff.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Time management is one of the most important skills in learning activities. So that in some of the studies time management has been mentioned as one of the most effective factors affecting academic achievement. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between time management skills and academic achievement in nursing and public health students.
METHODS: This is a cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study. This study was performed on 243 of nursing and public health students during the academic year 2016- 2017. Samples were selected by convenience sampling.Tesser time management questionnaire was used to measure students’ time management skills. Data were analyzed with SPSS 24, using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, independent t-test and ANOVA. In all statistical tests, p <0.05 was considered as significant.
FINDINGS: Results showed a significant correlation between time management skills and academic achievement in students (p=0.0001). According to the study, there was a statistically significant relationship between time management skills with gender, age, education level, housing, the enthusiasm for education (p<0.05). But the relationship between marital status, field of study with time management skills was not significant (p>0.05).
CONCLUSION: In this study, time management skills has affected the students' academic achievement but students' time management skills was almost desirable. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade students' time management workshops to be held.

This study was carried out for assessing of clinical education quality from viewpoint of radiology technology students.
METHODS: In this descriptive cross-sectional study in the first semester of 2015-16 education year, 80 students of radiology technology of Guilan University of Medical Sciences were selected by census sampling method. The data collection tool was a reliable and valid questionnaire. Data were analyzed by SPSS software using one-way ANOVA, t-test and descriptive statistics.
FINDINGS: In viewpoint of students, the performance of clinical trainer was evaluated as good level. The education goals, communication with students, clinical education environment and supervising and evaluation were assessed at intermediate level. Satisfaction of education field in female students was significantly higher than male (p<0.05). No significant difference was found between general clinical education satisfaction and sex (p>0.05).
CONCLUSION: To improve the quality of clinical education, enhancing the facilities and equipment, and revising the evaluation tools and education planning is recommended.
