Relationship Between Intellectual Capital Components and Knowledge Management with Improving the Performance of Training Staff of Babol University of Medical Sciences

Background and Objective: Today, knowledge, as a new organizational intangible asset, is the most important asset of organizations. Improving the performance of the organization's human resources, which will ultimately lead to the development of the organization, depends on several factors, the most important of which are knowledge capital and intellectual management. In this regard, this study was designed to determine the relationship between the components of intellectual capital and knowledge management with improving the performance of training staff at Babol University of Medical Sciences.
Methods: The present study was a descriptive-applied study that was performed on 125 employees of Babol University of Medical Sciences. Study data were collected using Betis standard intellectual capital questionnaire, and researcher-made questionnaires of knowledge management and employee performance improvement and analyzed using SPSS software version 22. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Friedman test, and Pearson correlation test were used for descriptive-analytical analysis and relationships.
Findings: The findings of the study showed a positive and significant relationship between the components of intellectual capital and knowledge management with improving the performance of training staff. (r=0.54, p=0.02), (r=0.88, p=0.01).
Conclusion: Considering the existence of this relationship, university officials can improve the performance of employees and ultimately the efficiency of the organization by strengthening the components of intellectual capital and knowledge management and, while planning to eliminate weaknesses, improve employee performance and ultimately the efficiency of the organization.
